About Bot & Nola's

Bartholomew "Bot" & Anola Martina were long time Abita residents, and lived right next door to where Bot & Nola's is located.

When Sheri and her husband John decided to purchase the land and open their business in 2004, they thought it was perfectly appropriate to name the business after Sheri's beloved grandparents, "Bot & Nola".

Sheri had spent many happy days during her childhood on that property, and decided a business reminiscent of her favorite things from those days would be a perfect fit.  That's why when you go to Bot & Nola's, it's like a walk down memory lane.

Sheri's face is a familiar one, making snoballs at Bot & Nola's and around the Northshore.  She is also a Councilwoman and Mayor Pro Tem of Abita Springs, and proud mother of three children.

In 2008, Sheri recently hosted her own daily talk-radio show, "A Little Louder" on WGSO,
and will be starting her new show with Northshore Broadcasting in the spring of 2009.

In her spare time, Sheri Campbell writes on a variety of topics related to St. Tammany and surrounding areas on the
Northshore Blog on NorthshoreLinks.com.

She is a native New Orleanian,
who loves living on the Northshore and working hand in hand with many of the non-profits that serve our community. Sheri enjoys every opportunity she has to boast about the good life and the great people of the Northshore!
